We offer the ADOS-2, the leading observational assessment tool for autism!

Autism Testing

At IPCC, we undertake full and comprehensive evidence-based evaluations for autism that include the use of the ADOS-2 "gold standard" assessment. To ensure the most accurate results, autism assessments at IPCC are conducted in line with the recommended and most widely used standards laid out by researchers and clinicians. Testing includes caregiver interviews, structured observations, cognitive testing, and standardized measures of adaptive, emotional, and behavioral functioning. In the utilization of evidenced based tools, testing will determine if a child meets criteria for Autism Spectrum Disorder.

Step 1 Consultation

Schedule a free 15-minute phone consultation with Dr. Morgan. During this consultation call she will listen to your concerns and ask some initial screening questions.

Step 2 Paperwork

Before your clinical intake appointment is scheduled, you will receive a welcome email linking you to our online portal and intake packet, informed consent, notice of privacy policies, and practice paperwork.

Step 3 Rating Scales

Next, standardized rating scales are completed by parents, teachers, and/or the child to gather insight across settings prior to the one-on-one interview. Parents will upload relevant medical records and/or school documents at this step as well.

Step 4 Virtual Intake Appointment with Dr. Morgan

After all paperwork and rating scales are complete, a one-on-one virtual intake appointment is scheduled to understand concerns, developmental history, and current functioning of your child.

Step 5 In-Office Assessment

One-on-one, interactive assessments are completed in person to evaluate cognitive functioning, social communication and behavior using the ADOS-2, which is the “gold-standard" for assessing autism in children.

Step 6 Feedback

The feedback session is a dedicated meeting where we review the results of your child’s comprehensive autism evaluation in a clear, supportive, and personalized way. Dr. Morgan will highlight your child’s strengths as well as areas of need. You will also receive clear, individualized recommendations for home, school, and therapeutic support.
