ADHD Testing
Testing for Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder is a multi-step process that evaluates behavior, cognitive ability, and executive functioning across home and school settings. It combines clinical interviews, rating scales from parents/teachers, and results from standardized assessments. This comprehensive evaluation gives parents the clarity, direction, and plan on how to effectively support their child’s needs.
Autism Testing
Autism testing at IPCC is an in-depth assessment of social-communication and behavior. We utilize evidenced based tools, including the "gold standard" ADOS-2 assessment. Furthermore, testing includes caregiver interviews to understand developmental history, structured observations, cognitive testing, and standardized measures of adaptive, emotional, and behavioral functioning. The comprehensive testing will determine if a child meets criteria for Autism Spectrum Disorder.
Psychological Testing
A psychological evaluation examines a child’s emotional and personality functioning that may be impacting their daily life, relationships, and ability to be successful at school and/or home. Does your child show signs of excessive anxiety? Do they appear more sad than usual? Have they been this way for more than 1-2 months? This evaluation will provide parents with the right amount of insight that consists of in-depth clinical interviews and evidence-based rating scales and measures to better understand your child's emotional well-being. Additionally, results can help inform treatment and guide personalized recommendations for support.
